Minimum rental periods apply in peak season - see Moreton Island beach house holiday rental / tariff details.

Some people make the mistake of spelling Morton Island and not Moreton Island. A spelling error in the Hawkesworth edition of Cook's Journal, the original error was never changed, and this Moreton (bay) became the accepted spelling of the bay. The spelling error was compounded in 1799 when Matthew Flinders decided to name the island to the east of the bay, Moreton Island.
